QUALITY SERVICES THAT WE PROVIDE

Infiltration Under Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopic infiltrations include all procedures that require an imaging technique to precisely guide the positioning of a medication prescribed by a treating physician to treat a particular problem (pain). There are a multitude of pathologies that benefit from being treated locally.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Musculoskeletal ultrasound is one of the non-invasive examinations that are employed to diagnose several conditions, including musculoskeletal conditions of tendons, muscles, ligaments, bursae and nerves for which regular x-ray examinations are not required.

Electromyography (EMG)

Electromyography is an examination during which the conduction speed of nerves and the electrical activity of muscles at rest and during contraction are studied.

Sports Medicine

Sports medicine is the sector of medicine dedicated to the physical activity that an individual performs to maintain their overall health and well-being. Doctors specialize in the management and rehabilitation of sports injuries.

Physiatry

Physiatry is the branch of medicine devoted to the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients of all ages suffering from musculoskeletal or neurological problems and resulting disabilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, our clinic is semi-private. In order to visit us, a referral is required from your doctor or general practitioner.

Yes, there are additional fees that apply since patients are not covered by the Quebec Health Insurance Board. These fees depend on the type of treatment. Residents outside of Quebec need papers to prove their status.
No. If you have a fever, it is because your body is fighting an infection and the latter is a contraindication to cortisone infiltrations.
The difference is that in fluoroscopy, there is a medical imaging device that allows it to visualize the region to be infiltrated. Certain parts of the body, especially peripheral joints, can be infiltrated in the office without fluoroscopic guidance.
No, because doctors do not take care of patients seen at our clinic. However, a report will be sent as soon as possible to your referring doctor. You must then contact this doctor to obtain a follow-up appointment.
Since each person reacts differently to infiltrations, it is impossible to predict. The effects can vary from a few days to forever. As long as the inflammation does not return, the beneficial effect is still present.
